East Moline is the smallest of the metro Quad City towns with a population just over 20,683. The city is bordered on the north by the Mississippi River and the Island Marina is a river access point. The paved bike path along the river connects to Moline and smaller communities upstream.

Residents appreciate the low cost of living, and local high school graduation rates are high.
