Mel Foster Co. is a proud supporter of the community. We feel it is our obligation to give back to those we serve and help make our community a strong and vibrant place to live.
Mel Foster Co. supports a variety of community activities and is always looking for creative sponsorship opportunities that present us with effective promotional opportunities and ways to help build a desirable community. Mel Foster Co. does not provide funding for operational costs or deficits, travel expenses, religious or political activities, individual pursuits, or any projects or events taking place outside the communities where we do business. Organizations requesting contributions must be operated for public purposes and qualify as a non-profit, tax exempt organization under IRS rules.
What is a Donation versus a Sponsorship?
DONATIONS are based on philanthropy that involves the contribution of cash, cash-equivalents, or in-kind goods or
services with no implicit expectation on the part of the donor.

SPONSORSHIPS are partnerships negotiated with another organization to support an event, team or fundraising
activity, where the sponsor receives recognition for their investment.
As much as Mel Foster Co. would like to support every cause, we do adhere to a budget and cannot grant every request. Responses will be made only to groups that are selected for donations / sponsorships.
Requests for donations and sponsorships are reviewed on a quarterly basis (4 times per year) on the following dates:
February 15 (deadline February 5)
May 15 (deadline May 5)
August 15 (deadline August 5)
November 15 (deadline November 5)
Any application submission received late will not be reviewed until the next quarterly review and will be declined if event has already been held.
